Notary Public Jail Service
South TX Notary provides services for those individuals who are currently incarcerated. Our professional notary will travel to meet the signer in person, verify their identity, and obtain a wet signature on your documents. We can only notarize documents that you provide to us. The notary is prohibited by law from drafting, editing, or offering legal advice. If you are unsure about the validity of your document, please contact a licensed attorney. In general, documents such as wills, estate docs, power of attorney, and other acknowledgements or jurats are often notarized without any issues. We do not leave copies of documents, and the originals are returned to you promptly after the session.
Please be mindful that our access to the detention facilities are dependent on the policies of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. They have administrative authority over the jail, and therefore can modify visitation access without notice at any time. We do offer services to the surrounding counties, including Atascosa, Medina, Kerr, Kendall, Guadalupe, and Wilson counties.
