What if I don't have a valid ID?We've still got you covered! It happens! Sometimes we misplace or lose our ID card. Maybe you forgot about renewals, and the only card you have is expired. In Texas, we can offer an alternative notarization option. The solution is to provide a credible identifying witness, who can swear under oath about your identity. This witness should personally know the signer, and they must prove their own identity by providing a valid government-issued ID card. After placing the witness under oath, our notary will attach a special affidavit to your document that satisfies the legal Texas guidelines for the witness and signer ID requirements.
