Spain Translations

Spain Sworn Translations

A sworn translation (traducción jurada) is an official translation completed by a translator appointed by Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC). These translations are:
  • Legally binding in Spain
  • Stamped, signed, and sealed by the sworn translator
  • Often required for immigration, academic, or legal purposes

Unlike general certified translations in the U.S., Spain requires sworn translations to come from MAEC-appointed translators. We have one!  Regular U.S.-based certifications are not accepted.

Let us take the stress out of your move to Spain. Whether you’re applying for a Digital Nomad, Non-Lucrative, or Student Visa, we’ll ensure your documents are ready: translated, certified, and fully compliant.

Does my translation need to be notarized or apostilled?
No Notary or Apostille Needed for the Translation
Does the spanish government recognize your translations?
Our Sworn Translator’s stamp is a legal certification recognized by the Spanish government.
Does a birth certificate require an apostille?
While the original document (like a birth certificate) needs an Apostille, the translation of that document does not. It is valid exactly as issued by our team.
